4 Cool & Unique Tiles For Your Kitchen Backsplash, Fireplace or Floor
When we renovated our Brooklyn apartment, I went pretty safe with our kitchen backsplash and used white, square subway tiles. Looking back on it, I kind of wish I had done something a little more creative. It’s such a small space that it’s actually doable to splurge on a set of cool tiles without breaking the bank.
Now that we are considering retiling our fireplace, I’m on the search for some unique tiles to update our very boring brown ones. Here are some of my favorite tiles I’ve found so far.

This bright blue striped tile is perfect for adding a pop of color to any space. It brightens the mood without being too wild. Similar to the Tempest Tile, above, you can mix and match the lines to create your own pattern.
